• Booty rule #1: Go hard or go home

• Remember, wounds heal and chicks dig scars.

• There's no shame in protective undergarments.

• Stay away from Bootyboard immitators. They want your kidneys.

• If you’re not bleeding by the end of the day, you probably aren’t pushing yourself hard enough. (Note: This tip applies to life outside of the Bootyboard as well).

• Always remember five simple words, “I meant to do that”.

GRABS
Try reaching down and grabbing the Bootyboard. You can do a front grab or back grab, at your toes or at your heels, with two hands or one.
SCAB RATING:

THE CHOPPER
The chopper is when you ride the Bootyboard while it’s spinning. Choppers can be planned or accidental, controlled or wild. A chopper 180 is easy, but try making it a 360, or 720. The hard part comes in stopping the chopper after you’ve started spinning!
SCAB RATING:

SURFIN'
To get into a surfers crouch pivot on the balls of your feet so that both of your feet are lined up in the same direction as the board instead of perpendicular to it. From the surf position, try to pivot in the opposite direction really fast to do a quick 180.
SCAB RATING:

STRIKE A POSE
Try balancing on the Bootyboard with just one foot and one hand. The Superman pose is when your body is completely straight with one arm pointing straight in front and your other leg pointing straight back. But don't hold that pose to long, player!

SCAB RATING:

SHOVE-IT
Skaters know that a Shove-It is when you jump up in the air and spin the board underneath you before landing on it. It's best to start with a 180 Shove-It, but once you have that down you can move to a 360, 520 or whatever. Try to avoid concussing yourself!
